I am an environmental communicator and writer exploring the intersection of research, environmental justice and multimedia storytelling with the goal of highlighting pressing environmental and social issues at local and global scales. I hold a Post-graduate degree in Science Communication from the International School for Advanced Studies (Trieste) and a Master’s degree in Biodiversity and Biological Evolution (Università degli Studi di Milano). My career bridges hands-on public engagement and media production, with on-site experience in the Ecuadorian Amazon, working to create awareness about the damage to the environment, to Indigenous communities, and to overall human health brought on by crude oil extraction. My work has focused on investigating and narrating environmental and scientific issues. In addition to inperson teaching at Leonardo da Vinci Science and Technology Musem, for outreach I’ve employed various formats, from longform journalism to podcasting and short documentaries.
