I studied environmental engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, where I specialized in environmental impact assessment. I then moved to Wageningen University in the Netherlands, where I completed an MSc in Urban Environmental Management with a focus on urban ecosystem services mapping and modeling.
After completing my masters, I joined the Urban Systems Lab in NYC, where I spent 4 years collaborating with environmental justice organizations and city officials to co-produce risk knowledge necessary for enabling fair adaptation to climate change.
As a PhD candidate at the Basque Center for Climate Change (BC3) and ICTA-UAB, I am interested in continuing to explore risk knowledge co-production methods by combining quantitative and qualitative data, as well as spatially explicit and non-spatial ways of assessing risk.
I am most experienced in GIS, R programming, and risk and urban ecosystem services mapping.
