My research motivation is the improvement of cities’ sustainability and inclusivity. Currently, I am working on my PhD project focused on the development of a multi-criteria decision framework for nature-based solutions in urban contexts, which should facilitate decision-making and guide the design and implementation of green infrastructure. For this, I am considering social vulnerabilities, environmental burdens and ecosystem services and employing both quantitative and qualitative methods. This research is part of the ERC Project URBAG (Integrated System Analysis of Urban Vegetation and Agriculture) and is conducted in collaboration with the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA).
I hold a MSc in Interdisciplinary Studies in Environmental, Economic and Social Sustainability with a specialization in Industrial and Urban Ecology and a BSc in Economics. My previous research has centered on green infrastructures, ecosystem services and environmental justice within urban settlements.
