I am a researcher interested in the social and political dimensions of food systems, specializing in agroecology, the right to food, and social justice. I hold a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (ICTA-UAB), a MSc in Agricultural Development from the University of Copenhagen and a BA in International Studies from the University of Trento. My doctoral research at ICTA has explored the social justice dimension of transitions to agroecology, drawing on the grassroots experiences of agroecology-oriented food redistribution networks during the COVID19 pandemic.

I work with local and international communities using qualitative and participatory methods, and I am particularly interested in exploring the intersection of audiovisual communication and science. Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Forum for Agroecological Studies and Transitions (FAST-CFE) at the University of Coimbra, working in the ALL-FACTs European project (Accelerating Agroecological Transitions through Living Labs). Here, I combine research communication with documentary video production to study and share knowledge about agroecological transitions across European contexts. Through this work, I investigate how audiovisual methods can function as both analytical tools and knowledge co-production practices in transdisciplinary research
