I am a former PhD Researcher at ICTA-UAB. I hold a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology (UAB), an MSc in Advanced Forest Research (Technical University of Madrid), a BSc in Forestry Engineering (Catholic University of Avila), and a BSc in Environmental Sciences (Catholic University of Avila).
During my PhD research at LASEG group I examined the traditional knowledge embedded in practices applied in temperate deciduous forests of Northern Spain. I applied a field-based, comparative and interdisciplinary research that combined ethnography, botanical inventories, modeling, and historical investigation, to analyze the effectiveness of conservation policies in preserving species diversity, with a particular focus on community-based natural resources management.
