I am a PhD researcher at ICTA-UAB. I hold a MSc in Ecohydrology (Kiel University / University of the Algarve) and a BSc in Environmental and Resource Management (Brandenburg University of Technology).
I am interested in interdisciplinary research with a critical lens. Currently, my research is focused on the historical transformations in the economic geography and social metabolism of soybean production and trade as well as the discursive elements in current deliberation processes on environmental governance of the global soybean complex.
Previously, I have worked on climate change impacts on global precipitation patterns and I have experience in remote sensing, GIS and statistical programming.
