We are glad to inform you that next Thursday, November 25th, the UAB will held the third session of the Series of Debates “Reshaping the Dialogue with Contemporary African Worlds”, organised by the Alianza 4 Universidades (A-4U).

This session is co-organized by the LICCI team at ICTA-UAB, and will be focused on“Securing Food Production in a Climate Change Environment”. The conference will be held in person at the UAB Campus and can also be followed online through Zoom in English. It will also be broadcast live on the A-4U YouTube channel. We hope it is of your interest.

In the session we will hear the voices from experts from different disciplinary backgrounds (crop science, fisheries, pastoralism, local knowledge) who will collectively reflect on the complexity of climate change impacts on African food production systems and on possible pathways for a transition towards more sustainable food systems, able to sustain healthy, nutritious and culturally appropriate diets in the light of climate change. There will also be space for the audience to participate from the discussion.
