On 14th November, we spent the day out of ICTA, in the Can Camps country-house.
In the morning, we received in-house training on blog writing, courtesy of our collegue Amalia Calderón, and then worked in pairs to decide on the title and main message of future blog posts. We also defined the contents of our monthly meetings between December and July 2020.
In the afternoon, we discussed career prospects at both PhD and post-doctoral levels and ended the day discussing the group's 2019 carbon footprint. We laid out the basic principles that should govern our future travel and research proposals in the coming years.
It was a great Laseg day, despite being cold and wet outside!
